Workplace Ergonomics


The world is moving fast and fast. To meet the global demand in this corporate world and to compete with it we need to work more and more and engage ourselves with various modern gadgets but along with this we did not change or modify our workplace ergonomically. Ergonomics is designing a job to fit the worker so the work is safer and more efficient. Ergonomics is important because when you’re doing a job and your body is stressed by an awkward posture, extreme temperature, or repeated movement your musculoskeletal system is affected. Your body may begin to have symptoms such as fatigue, discomfort, and pain, which can be the first signs of a
musculoskeletal disorder. Implementing ergonomic solutions can make employees more comfortable and increase productivity. From this course we will able to learn about Ergonomics, It’s benefits, Factors affecting ergonomics, How to design workplace ergonomically and some musculoskeletal disorder caused by faulty bio mechanics during work etc.

  • After Completing course participants can able to set up his/her workplace ergonomically and maintaining some tips & tricks they can avoid miscellaneous musculoskeletal condition which is very common among the employee especially those who are desk worker and therefore its improves their quality of work and productivity, also reduce medical cost as well.

Minarul Tawhid

Clinical Physiotherapist, Proyash, Dhaka Cantonment

Dr. A K M Minarul Tawhid, PT a young and enthusiastic Physiotherapist having vast clinical knowledge and sound capacity in diagnosis and treatment. He completed his graduation from CRP in 2012. Since then he worked in CRP Mirpur as Clinical Physiotherapist until January 2016.

Presently working at PROYASH, Dhaka Cantonment. Over 8 years of experiences Dr. Tawhid has achieved many certificate from courses and training. Moreover, also completed his master in public health along with mentionable Certificate course in Neurodynamics (Australia), Dry Needling (India) and PNF (India) and many more. He is also practicing in Unique Pain & Paralysis Center Mirpur-11 (Opposite to Labaid) everyday from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm except holiday.
